Meet Murdo one of our Yooperlite carvings.
Murdo is the explorer of the pack, he is curious, fearless and always sniffing out hidden treasures. His favourite pass times include, digging for stones. Leading adventures on the beach and practicing his “detective nose”
His approximate dimensions and weight are as follows:
404 grams
10cm tall x 5.5cm wide and 7.5cm deep
Yooperlite is a UV reactive stone that is found mainly in Michigan’s upper peninsula. It looks like a regular grey stone in daylight (also very pretty) but it glows a striking orange/yellow under Ultra Violet light due to the presence of Sodalite.
